Two short items from today’s perusing of the news stick out as “tells” of just how intellectually dishonest the purveyors and enablers of Progressive forced-narrative mass delusional hysteria really are.

First, this from a Powerline with THE POST ON THE TWITTER FILES regarding the planted false narrative that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian misinformation (i.e., not real):

The latest bombshell, released Monday by journalist Michael Shellenberger, shows an intriguing timeline:

• The Post calls Hunter Biden’s lawyer for comment the day before publication.
• The lawyer calls John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer repairman. Side note, for all those who accused The Post of not doing due diligence on the laptop: We never provided the lawyer with Mac Isaac’s name. Told that we had Hunter’s laptop, he knew which repair shop to call, which provided another level of confirmation. Also: Hunter and the Biden campaign never denied the laptop was his, they just disparaged how we got it.
• A little more than two hours after the lawyer’s phone call to Mac Isaac, “FBI Special Agent Elvis Chan sends 10 documents to Twitter’s then-Head of Site Integrity, Yoel Roth, through Teleporter, a one-way communications channel from the FBI to Twitter,” Shellenberger writes. What’s in those documents? We don’t know, but …

It seems a press that wasn’t reliably incurious and/or wholly complicit in the ruse…or even a moderately smart public school fifth grader…could have torn that fake narrative to shreds in less than a day. But alas…

Second, just for a point of reference, a quick search through the Introductory Material to the Final Report of the Select Committee document – the 154 page summary of the “exhaustive” “investigation” to understand the breadth of the vast right wing conspiracy that led to the January 6, 2021 “insurrection” – resulted in exactly ZERO uses of the term “pipe bomb.” There may be no clearer sign imaginable for just how intellectually un-serious everyone who had anything to do with this fake committee must be. (From start to finish, this embarrassing sham will leave the one permanent stain on the U.S. House of Representative that a proper recording of history will should record of this mess. I hope they spell “Cheney” correctly.)

Don’t get me wrong, part of me is thrilled that the fake committee didn’t waste any time and resources investigating fake bombs planted at each of the Party Headquarters so as to be easily found during the Trump Rally. But, in a sane world, I would be concerned that no one involved in the fake committee thought to question why there were fake bombs planted at each of the Party Headquarters so as to be easily found during the Trump Rally. But these are Democrats and their stoolies inside our perimeter so…

Anyway, the continued silence on the matter…or, more accurately, the complete snuffing out of this aspect of that day’s events…is deafening.
