We all know that American politics is now the national pastime and the fictional script will always be presented to We the People as an above board horserace. Only our best and brightest…the noble ideals of the white-hatted Progressives against the obvious evils of those extremist right-wingers in their black hats. So goes the new sport of kings…but it does little good to pretend that the whole world beyond our borders doesn’t see very clearly that the rotted, compromised, fully corrupt husk in the oval office and those pulling the strings to approximate a legitimate presidential administration are – through complete ignorance, misguided sophomoric ideals, and/or just plain totalitarian evils – largely destroying the (always tenuously woven) fabric between the many differing societies of our modern world. Now, more than twenty months in, it can no longer be argued that a vast majority of it isn’t intentional.

Truth and proper mockery must color the history of our time…and that will be done here at this lonely outpost.

First, I will step back for a little background on proper mockery. I’m sorry that I have lost the first source that informed my of this story, but this is a sufficient summary:

A Comanche warrior/medicine man named White Eagle (Kwihnai Tosabitʉ) said his magic could heal and even block bullets. He led a major sun dance gathering to inspire warrior confidence in divine assistance. At his urging, 1,000 warriors from several Plains Indian bands (including the famed Quanah Parker) made a bold attack on the Adobe Walls encampment in June 1874 while their inspirational leader remained a mile or so behind the lines, presumably wishing them well.

It was an utter disaster with fellows like the young Bat Masterson and Billy Dixon firing with deadly effect to ultimately repel the attackers. Dixon, a legendary sharpshooter, reportedly killed a chief at a distance of a mile and a half.

In response to this spectacular failure of claimed spiritual power and expertise, the Comanche gave their failed leader a new name: Isatai’i which means ‘Coyote Vagina’, and removed him from any leadership role. …

Along those lines, earlier this year back at my legacy posting sight, I suggested we reward our current version of spectacularly failed leadership with the a new name: President Weasel Vagina. By mid-year, when the incompetence with respect to the use of the prestige of the office became glaringly apparent and the humiliations dished upon him from even the most backwards corners of the world became impossible to ignore, the name seemed even more appropriate. (While it did not catch on, I still believe it is quite fitting. But I digress.) So today, just as the raw and wholly appropriate national cheer of “Fuck Joe Biden” transitioned seamlessly into “Let’s Go Brandon” and instantly became more palatable for those with a more sensitive constitution, I propose to replace the raw and wholly appropriate President Weasel Vagina with the more palatable “President Ferret Face”. I think you will find that even the most cursory study of the mind and character of Major Frank Burns will provide significant evidence of the similarities. (Of course, it should go without saying, no offence intended to the very capable Larry Linville.) Note, this is not at all about physical appearance but…well, there is something about the window to the soul:

Now, to the real meat of the story this week: This was a very bad week for Ferret Face…especially while the humiliations of the Puppet President (and the country he represents) on the world stage from just a few months ago are still a bit too fresh:

Did Biden and his handlers really think he could just show up, especially in his physical and mental state, and push the Saudis around? …

To recap the grueling ordeal, Biden arrived in Mecca, only greeted by the mayor of the city. That was the first power move. MBS then got Biden to fist bump him on camera even after the latter had spent years insisting he was going to punish the Saudis for the Khashoggi killing. That caused an uproar immediately among the US media, casting a dark cloud over the trip, and to make matters worse, the US president also appeared to get tricked into absolving MBS personally in a later meeting. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, despite going to Saudi Arabia based on the promise of more oil, Biden left empty-handed, gaining not a single concession.

Are you starting to get the picture now? The humiliation here wasn’t by sheer chance. It was meticulously planned out by the Saudis, and Biden happily walked right into the trap, adding another failure to his 50 years of foreign policy ineptitude. How did his handlers not see it coming?

It seems turning Ferret Face away “empty-handed” was just the warm up act:

OPEC TO BIDEN: DROP DEAD

The speculation earlier this week was that OPEC+ was going to cut oil output by 1 million barrels a day, and the Biden White House was described as being in “a panic” about this prospective move, because gasoline prices are starting to soar again just in time to help tip the midterm election further in favor of Republicans.* CNN reported:

“The Biden administration launched a full-scale pressure campaign in a last-ditch effort to dissuade Middle Eastern allies from dramatically cutting oil production, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. . .

“On Wednesday morning, OPEC+ oil ministers meeting in Vienna agreed to an even larger production cut than the White House had feared — 2 million barrels per day, …

“Some of the draft talking points circulated by the White House to the Treasury Department on Monday that were obtained by CNN framed the prospect of a production cut as a “total disaster” and warned that it could be taken as a ‘hostile act.’ …”

With Biden having recklessly depleted our Strategic Petroleum Reserve, he doesn’t have any cards left to play to offset this OPEC move.

Worse yet, given Ferret Face’s recent abuse of the bully pulpit on this issue, this is not at all out of line:

The US fossil fuel industry had harsh words for President Joe Biden after OPEC announced dramatic production cuts, saying that the administration now has no choice but to encourage more domestic output.

‘The White House has one option left and it is the one option they should have never turned away from in the first place – the US-based oil and gas industry,’ tweeted the US Oil and Gas Association on Wednesday.

‘Life comes at you pretty fast….’ the trade group added in a mocking jibe, following OPEC’s announcement that it will slash oil production by about 2 million barrels per day, constraining supply at a time when gas prices are already painfully high. …

‘President Biden and his administration have done everything within their power from day one to unilaterally disarm American energy production and he now wants to blame everyone else for his dangerous policies,’ said Kish, according to Forbes.

‘His routine is well past getting old, and Americans are going to pay the price for his continuing assault on American energy,’ he added.

‘This Administration’s energy policies are nonsensical and making us more dependent on foreign sources,’ said Anne Bradbury, CEO of the American Exploration and Production Council.

Yes, “from day one”…it was quite literally the fourth official movement he made as president. This was the plan all along. Of course, while that was clear to all intellectually honest observers back then, now even his own party elders (thinking in units of wisdom, not necessarily age) are speaking up (presumably, to preserve at least a tiny bit of credibility within the party):

…former Obama Economic Advisor Larry Summers characterized the Biden energy policies as “kind of insane.” This week’s developments indicate that Mr. Summers may not be far off in that assessment.

“Kind of”? Yes, kind of weak there, Larry. But the flood gates may be starting to open.

As I often say, only 834 looonnnnggg days left in the constitutionally mandated Biden-Harris administration. Hang on, Ferret Face is on the case so it’s going to get much worse before it gets better.
