Given my near total lack of attention to any corporate media outlets I cannot be totally sure, but I strongly suspect that you didn’t get a very big dose of this aspect of Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s latest visit to China:
One Day After Biden Bent the Knee, the Chinese Thoroughly Embarrass the Biden Administration
On Saturday, Joe Biden…took a question on US tensions with China while exiting Air Force One. … Biden claimed that the Chinese spy balloon that traversed much of the continental United States wasn’t intentional and that CCP leadership wasn’t even aware of what the balloon was doing. … What did that shameless, dishonest groveling at the feet of the Chinese dictatorship accomplish? The answer is apparently nothing. When Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in the adversarial nation on Sunday to hold more fruitless talks, the CCP immediately set out to embarrass the Biden administration.
Blinken lands in China. No red carpet, no greeting party and no high level CPC officials.
When high-ranking diplomats (and there is no higher ranking than Blinken) visit other countries, it is an act of tradition and respect to roll out the red carpet. It’s also customary for that person’s foreign counterpart, usually the one he’ll be negotiating with, to be in attendance to greet said diplomat and escort them to the meeting place or where they are staying. In this case, Blinken was met with a low-ranking official while given essentially zero pomp and circumstance, and the reason China snubbed him isn’t exactly a mystery.
As it stands, the CCP sees Biden as weak and ineffective. Not surprisingly, that’s because the president is weak and ineffective…
Of course, “weak and ineffective” is nothing more than a symptom of being “bought and paid for”…which, no rational being can any longer argue otherwise, he is.
Not to be lost in this matter, as the curators of the anti-narrative would like you to be, such humiliations are a feature, not a bug, of the FJB administration. Let’s look back to just about a year ago, as reported over at Ricochet:

Biden Blows It Again on Useless Middle East Trip
Joe Biden has been in the Middle East at least in part to talk with Saudi Arabia about increasing oil production. … people are saying that Biden will leave without any public announcement about increasing the oil supply.
The fact that the President and the prestige of the nominal leader of the free world ever even boarded a plane for such a mission without the extra-fine-print of such an agreement being etched in stone screams sophomoric and pathetic to the heavens. It is an unforgivable and unrecoverable unforced error…the Biden-Harris Administration will be little more than a limp noodle on the world stage for the next two-plus years. The only question is: Will other leaders (and their handlers) confine the giggles to behind Joe’s back or just laugh in his face?
Unfortunately, such a search would now be in vain. But I assure you that I did indeed post that. (More on that later.)
I just wanted to put that out front as I dive into the telling of those recent events that will now emerge from the intellectually honest with actual critical thinking skills (i.e., not transcribed from the approved-narrative as pushed out early via MSNBC talking points like certain others tend to post here) now that the trip has come to a predictably ignoble conclusion. Such as:

Did Biden and his handlers really think he could just show up, especially in his physical and mental state, and push the Saudis around? …
To recap the grueling ordeal, Biden arrived in Mecca, only greeted by the mayor of the city. That was the first power move. MBS then got Biden to fist bump him on camera even after the latter had spent years insisting he was going to punish the Saudis for the Khashoggi killing. That caused an uproar immediately among the US media, casting a dark cloud over the trip, and to make matters worse, the US president also appeared to get tricked into absolving MBS personally in a later meeting. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, despite going to Saudi Arabia based on the promise of more oil, Biden left empty-handed, gaining not a single concession.
Are you starting to get the picture now? The humiliation here wasn’t by sheer chance. It was meticulously planned out by the Saudis, and Biden happily walked right into the trap, adding another failure to his 50 years of foreign policy ineptitude. How did his handlers not see it coming?

That his handlers seem to have thought such a thing is telling…and very scary. That they appear to have been either ignorant of, or completely open to, walking into blatant humiliations of their boss and the country is even worse. As I do remember that Team Obama knew not only that the game existed but how to play the game and I do not believe that (for some reason or another) the tribal knowledge no longer exists on that side of the aisle, I am left to conclude that those handling this version of the nominal leader of the free world knew exactly what they were doing and likely got exactly what they wanted out of this trip. Expect more of this analysis in the days to come and more of this intentional humiliation heaped upon your country for, well…
Only 918 looonnnnggg days left in the constitutionally mandated Biden-Harris administration. May America get every one of those to the fullest…and emerge on the other side certainly bruised and battered but also wiser. I would hope that would include a healthy learned blindness to the feeding-frenzy and cultivated mass delusional hysteria machine and a sensitized aversion to the intellectually unserious (e.g., Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney, comment section trolls…oh, hell, the list is way too long).

Add the name Antony Blinken in big, bold letters to that list. What a joke.

Aside from the devastating history presented, the best part of that figure is that the reference in the title has direct ties to the non-signing ceremony planned at the U.S. Embassy before leaving Saudi Arabia. Thanks to a friend with certain connections, I have obtained limited leaked footage of the rehearsal for the event. As is said frequently these days, things are going swimmingly.
