Of course, the real question surrounding the case of the magic, uncatchable ‘pipe bomber’ is: Why were fake bombs planted in the first place? (See relevant posting history here. Or as later cross-posted over a Ricochet here.) But the fact that the authorities, who under any conceivable good faith exercise of the massive powers granted to them in the pursuit of impartial justice would have aggressively pursued, identified, and detained the “suspect” so very long ago, continue to want to ignore the whole episode becomes curiouser and curiouser…at least to those who even bother to pay attention to such things.

There are a few of us out here.

So I am once again pleased to see what seems to be the semi-annual mention of this aborted psuedo-event – as shallow and sophomoric as it was – in my very selective and calibrated stable of news gathering sources:

Bombshell: GOP Letter Drops Explosive Info About Suspect in Pipe Bombs at RNC, DNC

Have you wondered what happened to the case of the suspect who allegedly planted pipe bombs at the DNC and the RNC on Jan. 5, 2021?

Everyone else even remotely connected to the day seems to have been hunted down and treated with all kinds of severity (unlike what you would have seen for any during the 2020 BLM/Antifa riots). But for some reason, this is the case that seems to have had no real action that seems to have gone no further in uncovering who this suspect was, despite even capturing the person on video.

So far, the familiar and obvious take. But check out this bit of news:

But then the letter dropped a big bombshell where it talks about recent “media reports” related to what a former agent who worked on the case supposedly said.

“[T]he FBI linked the suspected pipe bomber to a MetroRail SmarTrip Card that the subject used to travel through the Washington Metro system to a stop in Northern Virginia. The FBI used security camera footage from the Northern Virginia Metro stop to identify the license plate of a car that the individual entered.’ Still, the FBI has not identified the subject.”

[Emphasis added]

Of course, anyone with an ounce of intellectual honesty in their veins and the minimum amount of curiosity issued with one’s own human nature knows that the FBI knows full well who the ‘pipe bomber’ is…and if we were allowed to know then I strongly suspect the pieces as to why fake ‘pipe bombs’ were planted there and then would all fall into place rather quickly.

There are valuable lessons in them there headlines if you look hard enough…and 2024 looms large.
