There is no need to dance around the obvious: I have an agenda.

While I tend to think that the tagline at the top of this page boils that agenda down quite well, I see many fronts in that battle against the forced narrative delivery system used by the American Beltway Class, the failed modern media, and the enablers in the blogosphere (i.e., stool pigeons and other reliable regurgitators of MSNBC talking point in posts and comment sections everywhere) to establish and prop-up pseudo-events (or “fake news” or “false history” or just plain diversionary twaddle)…all of which serves to suck most of the oxygen out of each and every news cycle. A useful tool indeed…and a target rich environment for me.

The larger game has been well honed: get the fake narrative out there quickly and then move on to the next “breaking news” cycle so that the corrections that come 24 or 48 hours later can just be ignored. So, whether it be in feeding-frenzy and cultivated mass delusional hysteria mode like we witnessed in the (first) Trump era or the shape-shifting and fluid, situational word meanings mode being used on a daily basis now, the intellectually un-serious “accepted narratives” that we consume through the firehose each week become laughably obvious and sophomoric to those willing to see. And once seen in one case or a series of cases, it becomes hard not to see it everywhere. In this space I plan to continue my little part in spelling this out as the inspiration hits me.

Of course, other topics may come up from time to time also.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND

I have a history as a member at RedState (2006 until the Diary Page disappeared in 2021-ish…except for approximately six months in 2017-2018 when I was banned) and Ricochet (2012-Present). Most recently I have worn out my welcome at Ricochet. I will likely delve into certain details involved in all of that at some later point. Now is not the time.

I don’t really know where this little experiment is ultimately going but this is where I am. This lonely outpost was created to allow me to maintain the “I must be me” standard that I voiced (in a shamelessly bastardized quote) upon my return from a three-week suspension at Ricochet last year:

“Unvarnished truth in opposition to unapologetic anti-intellectualism, immature emotionalism, and blatantly planted propaganda is no vice!”

While I insist that I post just for me, I do welcome any who want to follow along and keep me honest (or die trying). New posts will mostly come on Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays but there is no schedule. I hope you stick around and enjoy.
