Based on my more focused observations since the mid-1980s, I tend to place the beginning of the Intellectually Un-Serious Era in America to shortly after Bill Clinton announced his run for the Presidency in late 1991. Somewhere around then is when the corporate media gave up all journalistic objectivity and went all-in for one political party. Since then, there have been many discrete step functions in that path toward the current cancerous evil that fit loosely to a convenient milestone-based timeline: the Pelosi Speakership, Obama Election I/Obamacare jammed down our throats, Benghazi/Obama Election II, Russia Collusion Hoax, Impeachment I, Rigged 2020 election and the aftermath, Maximum Lawfare, …
The result is a rather hideous monster…and it is on full display for the world today.
Just about one full day after I first heard of the political…and all so real…assassination of Charlie Kirk, just as the extent of that cancer that now fully infests the American Left was beginning to become clear (to even those who try hard not to see such things) as the infected are proudly peacocking it on social media everywhere, these are the relevant words that crossed my screen:

The take-away from the presser is that an individual with an anti-fascist ideology coordinated with organized individuals (antifa/DSA/ to be determined) for a drop off point, the shot, with distractions and decoys.

September 14, 2025 UPDATE: Just a few more items to cap off the weekend. Starting with this:
The murder of Charlie Kirk at the hands of a leftist gunman has revealed that many, many more Americans … supported Charlie and his views than was commonly appreciated. …
Charlie’s views — uniformly disparaged by the press as “far right” — are in fact mainstream, generally held by the majority of people. His assassination has caused people to step forward, and realize that the normal-American community is a huge majority. …
But something else is being revealed, which is just how awful the views of the other 20% are. The approving response to the assassination from so many otherwise apparently respectable people has demonstrated just how many people there are who adhere to a leftist ideology of hate.
These aren’t just a few wackos. These are large numbers of people in professional and managerial jobs…who genuinely believe that holding ideas they don’t like should carry the death penalty.
These people are everywhere. They might be teaching your kids. They might be the face looking down at you as you’re wheeled into the E.R. They might be the guy who approves your building permit, or not. It’s an Army Of Haters.
Trump is the Great Clarifier, and here’s another thing that’s become clear in his second term.
They’re there, they hate you, and they’re not going anywhere. So what to do about it?
