Just so it doesn’t go un-noted during the still snowballing rightful national outrage surrounding the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, I just want to put this question out there:

What are the odds that the day after the assassination, after the better part of that prior day’s news cycle was filled with growing volume and momentum everywhere against the unhinged rhetoric and years of violence by the Leftist forces across America, that there would be a not credible bomb threat at the DNC (a hoax) and a series of “hoax threats” called into at least six historically black colleges that would be used by both Progressive pols and sympathetic media alike to add a little bit of both-sides-ism to each and every “news” broadcast as the Charlie Kirk coverage continues?

I will note that both hoaxes happened on the anniversary of 9/11…but neither would seem an obvious target for that “war”…especially in the absence of more appropriate targets of that enemy at the same time. Seems a bit of a stretch….and in context, it all feels like a hastily executed (i.e., panic) move by the crisis management team deep in the DNC to just do something. (Yes, three and a half decades of observing American politics and recognizing the very thin playbook used by the Left, I am that cynical.)

Something tells me these hoaxes will have served their purposes and be scrubbed from memory very soon. There will be no follow-up to inform us as to the identity of the hoax-sters as I have no doubt that they will prove as allusive as the Jan 6 Pipe Bomber. At least they didn’t – or didn’t have time to – insult our intelligence this time with more movie props from the supply closet at the DNC:
