As posted this morning at the legacy site:
A search of the term shows that I am certainly not the first and/or only Member to touch on the subject, but I have touched on it several times in pushing my own agenda around here…like this example from January 13 of this year:
So many years of this reliable incuriosity to facts and truth coupled with universally shallow reliance on forced narrative coverage have continued to instill an ever-growing amount of anti-fragility into Trump the political figure. The remainder of the 2024 campaign will be interesting to watch as the media continues to be flustered by control laws that no longer work on Trump as nature dictates they work non-Trump candidates. The real funny part is that it was the media themselves (and their Never Trump enablers inside our perimeter) who created this “cult leader” and continue to empower him. Enjoy the ride.
In my version, I believe this characteristic is as much a forcefield projected onto the symbolic figure by his supporters (and observers not debilitated by the insidious mental illness known as NT) as it is an internal trait of Trump himself…the uniqueness of his true fighting spirit simply provides (a very imperfect but) most suitable canvas for the gift. This apparent characteristic has been honed and strengthened over time solely in response to the persistently acute irrational and anti-intellectual attacks on the almost accidental proxy for less corrupt government. Others have their versions too…as in this report this morning on Instapundit where Niall Ferguson documents the short history on Trump becoming authentically antifragile:
Trump’s political opponents made a vain effort to destroy him. In the words of Elon Musk—who has been a key variable in Trump’s epic comeback—Trump is the man “who they tried to kill twice, bankrupt, and imprison for eternity.” Trump faced two assassination attempts, one of which came within an inch of killing him. He was indicted in four criminal cases and convicted in one of them. He was impeached twice as president, in December 2019 (over his infamous call to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky) and again in January 2021 (over the mob’s invasion of the Capitol on January 6).
In a civil case in May 2023, a Manhattan jury found him liable for sexually abusing and defaming the journalist E. Jean Carroll, awarding her $5 million in damages. Last May, he was convicted in a Manhattan court on 34 felony counts relating to hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels. My colleague Eli Lake puts the grand total at 116 indictments. This wasn’t just lawfare; it was total lawfare.
And still he won. He totally won.
What all this goes to show is that Trump is authentically antifragile. …
Still, as I see it, he is authentically antifragile in as much as the arrogant overuse of the Progressive Mass Hysteria Narrative Machine over many years has created a large portion of We the People who are willing to impart authentic antifragility onto him.
Below is the full post from which I pulled my own reference to the subject at the top of this post. Enjoy:

Interesting Truth from Frank Luntz (January 13, 2024)
Not that I generally give a flip what whores and pollsters have to say but the admission, albeit in an unintended way, in the added commentary to the answer here says a lot:
WATCH: Pollster Frank Luntz ‘Visibly Cringes’ As He Predicts Trump Will Win the 2024 Election
Luntz was asked: “If you had to bet $150,000 on who’s gonna win in November, who would you bet on?”
[Luntz:] “I never dreamed that I would say this, but I would bet on Trump. I never, I thought it was done. I thought it was over. You don’t come back from an impeachment. You don’t come back from January 6th, you don’t come back from any of this. …”
[Emphasis added]
He is, of course, correct. I will also add the obvious: You don’t come back from openly steeling a presidential election by colluding with the Russians as a Republican and you don’t come back from inciting an insurrection as a Republican. The problem for the Luntz’s of the world is that so much of what they think happened really didn’t; simply putting hoaxes and fake impeachments into the public record and repeating them ad nauseum in the dictated narrative media does not make any of it real. A few moments of actual thought and Frank might actually come to realize exactly why he is so correct on this point. Alas, I will not be holding my breath for that.
I am quite sure that some small fraction of Luntz-types in the media have remained grounded and fully aware that they are shoveling nothing but BS. But there are many, some who occasionally self-identify like this, who either were never bright enough (see MSNBC) or who just drank too much of the Kool-Aid and are now shocked that real people may consume a whole lot of semi-entertaining network/cable fiction while still being able to focus on reality. The hypnotic trance of this type of media moron was on full display just the other day…watch the pathetic engagement and overwhelming uncomfortable silence of the narrative pushers here:

You can see that they never expected to be questioned like that, how dare anyone question them? And then with just a few things the one female reporter said, you could see how ignorant she was and how that entered into her skewed thoughts. Likely their political leanings enter into why none of them will admit there are problems here.
And it’s concerning when they’re the media who have the supposed job of ferreting out the truth and presenting facts to us — when they don’t seem to know the facts or seem to be interested in the truth.

Second term Trump comes in without a Republican party already wetting their pant in fear of the press…leaving him mostly isolated and with several ready to run for the exists before the mid-terms rather than be seen to be working with him on the agenda that won him the office. It will be interesting to see if (and how fully) the authentic antifragility observed in the candidate carries over to the operations in Office this time.
