With a slight modification to be less specific and more fitting to the still evolving impact of the modern Progressive movement on the relationship between We the People and the Government that strives more and more to rule us, the title above seems about perfect. 

As related to us by Powerline this morning, the comes to us from what may be the last remaining vestige of intellectual and professional integrity in our government (note that the National Archives pissed theirs way just last year)…the White House Stenographers:

The White House press office engaged in a “breach of protocol” when it altered the transcript of President Biden’s “garbage” remark about Donald Trump’s supporters Tuesday over the objection of the administration’s stenographers’ office, according to an internal email. …

The White House press office, however, added an apostrophe to “supporter’s,” suggesting that Biden was only attacking the comedian.

“If there is a difference in interpretation, the Press Office may choose to withhold the transcript but cannot edit it independently,” the supervisor of the White House stenographers fumed in an email to the press office, obtained by the Associated Press.

“Our Stenography Office transcript — released to our distro, which includes the National Archives — is now different than the version edited and released to the public by Press Office staff,” the missive continued.

The brave supervisor did not shy away from calling out this “breach of protocol and spoilation of transcript integrity between the Stenography and Press Offices.” [Emphasis added] 

(Given the unreserved nature and demonstrated temper regarding similar matters of those exercising presidential powers in the name of FJB, that supervisor will likely regret those comments by the end of the weekend. But I digress.)

Of course, as modified for the title above, this is nothing new under the Obamabiden Oligarchy. Those with memories of the early years will remember the very willing whores of the Congressional Budget Office colluding with the Obama operatives to rig their models to fit the contorted logic of the anti-intellectual narrative being recited to help ram Obamacare down our throats. It all worked like a charm.

The intentional spoliation of integrity is almost a daily occurrence these days alone in the person of Karine Jean-Pierre. But that is mostly just gratuitous insult to our intelligence. The more substantive cases have real impacts on our lives. One of the best examples in the fake jobs reports put out every month…more fake during election season…only to be revised to something closer to the truth when that truth will be less hurtful to the cause. In the meantime, public opinion is being manipulated by this government supplied disinformation and decisions inside and outside of government are being made based on total Bu!!$&!#. 

Another example of spoiling integrity that will certainly have long ranging impacts outside of our border is the duplicity of the Oligarchy with respect to Ukraine and Russia. The operatives keep writing checks to Ukraine from our pocketbook without bothering to even ask anymore and then they leak Ukrainian intelligence to Russia just to keep the con going.

And don’t even get me started about the very awake Iranian sleeper cell in the Executive halls of the USG. 

All of that real, demonstrable lack of integrity…and we are just days away from an election in which we are told the people are “this close” to reelecting the Oligarchy for the fourth time in five tries. I can only return again to this old favorite about the state of affairs here in the post-Republic era:
