In a post last December titled War Rape, I repeated this earlier response to some of the faux-intellectual denialism-adjacent twaddle (as in “where are the rape kits?”) regarding the sexual savagery committed by “Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Gaza ‘civilians’ on October 7”:

Little more than a quick scan through a good copy of “The Rape of Nanking” would expose these “rape kit” head fakes as the disgusting anti-intellectual twaddle they really are.

If that version is too harsh for your sensibilities, maybe look into what the Duke lacrosse team was accused of doing.

Conflating “rape” with “proof of semen” completely misses the extreme violence of the violations one should not even imagine were done here.

Israel submits report to UN on Hamas’s mass weaponization of rape

The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel on Wednesday submitted to the United Nations a report detailing the sadistic and systematic nature of the sexual violence employed by Hamas terrorists during the terror group’s brutal October 7 onslaught on southern Israel, as well as evidence of such crimes being perpetrated on an ongoing basis against hostages still held in Gaza.

…“the report clearly demonstrates that this is not a ‘malfunction’ or isolated incident, but a clear operational strategy involving systematic, targeted sexual abuse,” contrary to the claims of some pro-Palestinian activists who have denied the extent of Hamas’s weaponization of rape.

… report outlines several sadistic tactics that were recurring, among them genital mutilation and penetration of victims’ bodies with weapons.
